Head of Partnerships and Development
We are looking for an experienced leader for our Head of Partnerships and Development role. This is a varied position, with responsibility for overseeing the successful running of our Fundraising, Communication and Community Education teams. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and executing our fundraising strategies in addition to guiding our communications planning. As a key member of our senior management team, you will work closely with the CEO and collaborate with other departments to drive the long-term vision and service positioning of ImpactHK.
Job Duties
Collaborate with the management team and CEO to drive long-term vision and service positioning of ImpactHK, in keeping with the mission, disseminating among team and key stakeholders
Develop, execute and oversee fundraising strategy and plan, raising restricted and unrestricted funds to meet target and the charity’s mission
Proactively identifies and cultivates a strategic network of relationships with relevant prospective donors and community resources, generating funding leads and scouting opportunities to engage and sustain relationships
Lead on brand and marketing strategy across the whole organisation, including social enterprise direction
Work with media, community and partners to disseminate impact stories and data and oversee and approve all communications in the press and media
Spearhead localisation strategy, approaching relevant partners and press to aid growth in local market through comms and Chinese language usage, new funding opportunities, community education and local brand partnerships
Oversee volunteer and CSR coordination, led by Community Education Manager who will maintain effective and efficient operation and communications to volunteers, carry out effective community education work to destigmatise and change the narrative on homelessness and identifying potential donors
Handle ad hoc tasks as assigned
Requirements:
At least eight years professional experience, with experience in a leadership or people management role
Degree or above in relevant discipline
Has a strong sense of social justice and desire to make change
Proven track record fundraising, managing donations and grant-writing in a Hong Kong NGO
Analytical with a strong attention to detail; able to report on and address fundraising trends
Strong editorial and writing skills desired, particularly with high-level English proficiency
Strong interpersonal skills and a creative approach to problem solving
Ability to work independently and in a team
