Officer / Assistant Officer (25260067)
Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, implement, and deliver large-scale events, cultural immersion programmes, and student integration exercises;
- Develop promotion strategies and foster partnerships with external and internal stakeholders;
- Coordinate promotional campaigns and create promotional materials;
- Oversee social media and website management;
- Manage the physical hub for internationalisation and student integration, known as BU Market; and
- Guide student ambassadors in executing specific initiatives.
Requirements:
- A recognised degree with at least three years of work experience;
- Proficiency in MS office;
- A self-starter & resourceful incumbent with an outgoing personality and positive attitude;
- Ability to work effectively with people from different cultures, enthusiastic about working with students, detail-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced office;
- Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a can-do attitude; and
- Proven experience in global education and overseas work and/or study experience will be an advantage.
- Experience in event management, with proven track record of organising successful events;
- Excellency in vendor management;
- Proficiency in website management is an advantage;
- A good command of written and spoken English and Chinese is required;
Strong leadership and coordination skills are desirable qualities for the appointees.
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a written test.
The initial appointment will be offered on a fixed-term contract of two years. Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.
Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
