Operation Officer, Airfield

Grade: Band 3

Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing, developing, and implementing operating procedures of the Apron Control Centre Unit (ACC) for Airfield Duty Team systems to safeguard aviation safety and enhance operation efficiency and safety
• Support and coordinate specialised airfield projects such as remote marshalling and the enhancement of airfield systems, including Aircraft Parking Stand Allocation System (APSAS) and Airport Collaborative Decision Making (ACOM)
• Support and manage flight data in the Airport Operations Database (AODB) and provide quality data analysis
• Assist in monitoring on-time performance (OTP) data and provide data analysis report
• Coordinate and liaise with project contractors and community stakeholders to facilitate system enhancements and operational support
• Assist with ACC operations, including monitoring marshaller performance and updating flight information
• Required to work office duties and be available for shift duties if necessary

Requirements:

• Degree holder and fresh graduate are welcomed; associate degree or higher diploma with minimum 2 years’ relevant work experience, or secondary education level with at least 4 years’ work experience will also be considered
• Associate degree / higher diploma, or secondary education level with only 2 years’ work experience will be considered as Operation Officer Trainee
• Prior experience in airport operations is an advantage
• A team player with a pleasant personality, possessing good communication and interpersonal skills, detail-oriented, responsible, enthusiastic and motivated
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Chinese processing. Competency in other software is an advantage
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese. Knowledge in Putonghua is an advantage
• Possess a valid HK driving license with Class 1 and 2 endorsements
