The Hong Kong Palace Museum (HKPM) is a dedicated museum that showcases the exquisite artefacts from Palace Museum’s collections and collaborates with other museums in research, exhibitions, education and public programmes. The museum comprises 7 800 square metres of gallery space for standing and special exhibitions on Palace Museum’s collections of paintings, calligraphy, antiquities and historical objects, as well as thematic displays on world cultures and civilisations.
(This is a fixed-term contract position of 2-year with possibility for renewal subject to organisational needs and individual performance.)
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Special Projects, you will be responsible for:
- assisting in the planning, execution, management and publicity of major events;
- preparing procurement documents;
- creating PowerPoint slides for the presentation in various internal meetings or committee meetings;
- maintaining a proper documentation record and providing administrative support to the team;
- maintaining and building good relationships with relevant parties and other stakeholders;
- coordinating VIP visits for local/overseas/Mainland guests and delegations; and
- performing other ad hoc and special projects as requested.
You should:
- possess a recognised university degree in any disciplines;
- preferably have 3 years of working experience in Hong Kong;
- have high proficiency in computer applications in MS Office;
- be a strong team player who is mature and independent, responsible with good communication skill and high work commitment; and
- have good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
