What You'll Do:
Protect Our Creations: Monitor and enforce intellectual property (IP) rights, identifying and addressing potential infringements to keep our innovations safe.
Be an IP Expert: Provide expert guidance on IP matters, from product development to branding strategies, and offer valuable insights to other departments.
Sample Control: Manage and ensure proper control over product samples to protect our proprietary designs.
Vendor Compliance: Conduct audits of factories to ensure our vendors comply with all IP regulations.
Proactive Problem Solver: Stay ahead of potential IP issues by identifying and resolving infringements before they escalate.
Customer Audits: Collaborate with customers to address and resolve IP findings through Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA).
Train and Empower: Deliver IP training to employees to raise awareness and ensure company-wide compliance.
Stay Organized: Maintain accurate records of IP assets, keeping all related documentation organized and up-to-date.
Stay Informed: Keep yourself and the team updated on the latest changes in IP laws, regulations, and best practices in the industry.
What We’re Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience in IP management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
Experience in the toy industry is a plus.
A strong understanding of compliance and the ability to enforce necessary regulations.
Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Mandarin).
Great interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
Willingness to work in Shenzhen and travel to Vietnam and other countries as needed.
