Business Development Specialist

The role

• Identify and investigate market opportunities for potential new projects in these areas, as well as in other potential business sectors
• Work closely with internal teams to expand the company’s portfolio of aviation projects and its network of collaborating organizations and consultants
• Proactively communicate with technical experts, partner firms, existing and prospective clients, and other relevant stakeholders
• Conduct research and due diligence, scope analysis, and competitive landscape investigations.
• Manage correspondence and other communications with consultants and partners
• Lead the preparation of persuasive, responsive, and visually appealing Expressions of Interest and Proposals for consulting services projects in aviation and infrastructure, including outreach to experts and partners, as well as the development of methodologies, work schedules, and draft budgets
• Ensure the quality and timely submission of all bids
• Manage and participate in the implementation of aviation sector projects in accordance with the company’s growth objectives and development strategies
• Provide technical support for aviation data collection, processing, and analysis
• Assist with general administrative tasks
• Travel as required and attend meetings with clients and other relevant stakeholders
• Contribute to other business development and project management activities as assigned
• The Business Development Specialist in Hong Kong may focus on the Greater Bay Area or the China market
• The role may involve working with private and business aircraft, or specialized ground services at HKIA or in China

The Person

• Bachelor in Business Management or related disciplines
• Experience in the aviation industry and regulations is a must
• Possess customer centric and positive mindset with a can-do attitude
• Independent, self-motivated, analytical with attention to details
• Possess strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
• Have a good understanding of mainland China business culture, previous project/work experience in the region is a plus
• Experience with graphic design, social media page management, and Power Automate are an advantage
• Good command of English, Cantonese and Putonghua in spoken language and typing/reading
