Logistics Coordinator / Officer
About the job – key responsibility areas
- Handle daily in/outbound logistic operation arrangement and order processing with overseas factories. Ensure end-to-end order fulfillment from import and export to local deliveries with high accuracy.
- Prepare and issue PO, invoice, packing list, other shipping documents and handle Tradelink declaration independently.
- Follow up order and shipment status by liaising with external and internal parties to ensure cost-efficient deliveries.
- Keep track of shipment status by daily database update in order to provide accurate shipping information to external & internal customers .
- Monitor and check inventory record.
- Prepare freight quotation to sales team / customers.
- Assist in handling of departmental administrative and other logistic duties.
Qualifications & Experience
Education, experience, certifications
- Diploma holder; shipping / logistics management field is preferable.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in order management and logistics coordination.
Personal & Technical Competencies
- Able to handle full set of I/E shipping documents independently.
- Proficiency in Excel and MS office application, hands-on experience in using Gmail and ACCPAC will be an advantage.
- Good communication skills, detail-minded.
- Fast learner, able to work independently and under pressure.
- Good written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Strong sense of responsibility, willing to learn, self-motivated and a good team player.
- Immediately available is preferable.
