Job Description
- To handle rate inquiry from both internal & external customers for nomination account under the guidance of Manager and consult with the Manager for precise offer for any shipment/inquiry with specific tonnage, volumetric ratio or special requirement.
- To handle the rate inquiry timely in accordance with the Company’s standard.
- To understand the rate structure, our cost & strength and reflect the market expectation on rate offering with close coordination with the respective Manager for the cost revision and current space situation.
- To handle the RFQ, RFI and Sales Bid Proposal for all nomination customers (account without account holder in HKG) and responsible for taking lead of coordination (on behalf of Hong Kong branch) for the global bid initiated by Regional Office, Asia or CHQ.
- To follow up the result/feedback for those big shipments and see if re-quote is necessary for gaining business and prepare weekly analysis on business gain and loss to Manager’s review.
- To maintain a complete tariff (FAK in e.net) or PST program for internal & external usage purpose so that the latest market situation & suggest sell rate can be shared among all overseas offices.
- To make sure all agreed selling rate are updated into AIRRTS (for air) and ATS filing system (for ocean) under the company policy and workflow set up by Manager.
- To coordinate the PSAF or GRI exercise for HKG branch (for air) as per company direction.
- To assist the Gateway Manager to prepare the report for the analysis of the closing ratio and share the trends in weekly basis.
- To support the Gateway Manager to check and update the onforwarding tariffs from major gateway.
- To study the failure case and share advice to the pricing coordinator.
- To assist the Gateway Manager to provide the training for the pricing coordinator.
- To perform additional tasks as required to meet the Company’s needs.
Qualifications
1. University graduate with over 3 years relevant experience, or certificate/diploma or Formal Secondary School graduate with over 5 years working experience in freight forwarding industry which 2 years in supervisory level.
2. Outgoing character with excellent communication skill and telephone manner.
3. Fluent spoken Cantonese, English and Mandarin.
4. General PC knowledge for dealing with email correspondence and Window application.
